Why don’t you show more photos of clients’ hair?
Go to almost any other salon’s Instagram and you’ll see a grid full of hair photos. We’ve chosen not to go with the flow for one good reason: out of respect for your privacy.
We get enough exposure to commercial pressure in our everyday lives and social media raises the pressure to present yourself a certain way online. We view DANESTYLES as a sanctuary. The hygge is real! That’s why we have separate styling rooms instead of an open concept salon full of chairs in one big space. We want you to be able to relax, be yourself, and take a break from the outside world when you spend time with us.
We also don’t expect our clients to be advertisements for us. If a client wants to share their amazing haircut or fabulous new color, they are free to do that on their own. We don’t make it part of our salon experience. That’s why we don’t have a selfie station. A chocolate and tea station? Of course!
